Boys' black leather school shoes with bungee laces and a rip-tape strap.
League looks like a lace-up from the front, but the laces are elastic bungee laces, so nobody has to tie anything. A single rip-tape strap across the top is what holds it in place.
Fit and comfort: The laces stay as they are and the strap does the adjusting, so a child can get League on and off without help. The ankle is padded, with a removable insole inside.
It's made in leather with extra scuff protection round the toe and heel, and lined in textile. The polyurethane sole is chunky and grippy for the playground, and non-marking indoors.
Why I'd recommend it
I'd recommend League for a boy who wants the look of laces but isn't tying them yet. It gives him that without slowing down the school run.
