Knee-high black leather boots with a stretch calf gusset, made in a wide H fitting.
Josephine 05 is a long boot, high on the leg, with vertical stitching up the shaft and a block heel with grip built into it. Long boots are back this season and this is the one we have gone for.
Fit and comfort: There is stretch in the gusset, which allows for a more generous calf. It is also made in an H fitting, which is a wide fitting, so there is room across the foot as well as around the leg. The sole is EVA, light and cushioned under a boot of this height.
Leather upper, textile lining, EVA sole, block heel.
Why I'd recommend it
I'd recommend Josephine 05 if you have given up on long boots because of the calf. The stretch gusset and the H fitting deal with the calf and the foot separately, which is what makes this one worth trying on.
