A wide-fitting waterproof ankle boot from Legero, with an extra soft padded collar and decorative stitching.

Dreamer is genuinely comfortable thanks to its extra soft padded collar, finished with elaborate decorative stitching and ornamental metal loops. A cosy, warm lining adds comfort, and the casual profile sole gives good grip underfoot.

Fit and comfort: This boot comes in Legero's H fitting, a genuinely wider width than their standard G, worth knowing if wider feet or bunions have made standard-width boots uncomfortable in the past. A Gore-Tex membrane runs through the upper, and an easily replaceable insole sits inside, leaving room to fit an orthotic if needed. A side zip with lace fastening gives a secure, adjustable fit, and a 40mm drop gives a bit more heel lift than the Tanaro or Milena styles.

Suede and nubuck upper, with a warm lining made from recycled polyester, nylon and polyamide. Sourced from a Leather Working Group certified tannery.

Why I'd recommend it

I'd recommend this one for the nubuck detailing specifically, it gives the boot a slightly richer texture than the plain suede styles elsewhere in the range.
