A short, fully waterproof wellington from Lunar, in black.

This is a short, ankle-height welly rather than a full-length one, built for genuinely wet conditions, whether that's a muddy dog walk, the garden, or just getting through a downpour on the school run.

Fit and comfort: The rubber construction is fully waterproof throughout, with a cotton lining inside for a bit of comfort against the foot. An elasticated gusset at the side and a pull tab at the back make it easy to get on and off, and a chunky, two-tone lugged sole underneath handles slippery ground.

Rubber upper and sole throughout.

Why I'd recommend it

I'd recommend this one as a proper everyday welly rather than a fashion one, the chunky sole genuinely grips on wet or muddy ground.
