Trent 50 is a boot for winter days outside, at work or otherwise. The leather upper has a Top-Dry Tex membrane behind it, so water stays out, and the EVA sole underneath is cushioned and light, and you notice that by the end of a long day on your feet.

Fit and comfort: It is made in an H fitting, which is a wide fitting, so there is more room across the ball of the foot than a standard width gives you. That suits wider feet and bunions, and plenty of people simply prefer the extra room. Laces and a side zip work together, so you can set the lacing to suit and then step in and out. The insole is removable if you wear your own orthotics.

Leather upper, textile lining, cushioned EVA sole. Lightweight soles are something Josef Seibel do consistently across their range, and the EVA unit on this one is a good example of it.

Why I'd recommend it
I'd recommend Trent 50 if you want a boot that keeps the water out without weighing you down. The EVA sole does most of that work, and the H fitting means there is room across the foot for anyone who needs it.
