Waterproof lace-up ankle boots on a chunky lug sole, in red, made from vegan-friendly materials.
Peyton 01 is a lace-up ankle boot built on a deep lug sole, with contrast stitching running along the welt. The red is a rich, deep shade rather than a bright one, and it is the boot in this range for anyone who wants some colour underfoot in the winter.
Fit and comfort: A standard width. It fastens with laces and a side zip, so the lacing can be set to suit your foot once and the zip used after that. The insole lifts out if you wear your own orthotics. The upper is waterproof.
PU upper, textile lining, TPR sole. The materials are easy-care, so a damp cloth and a little mild soap will take off salt, mud and the rest of what winter puts on them.
Why I'd recommend it
I'd recommend Peyton 01 if you want a waterproof boot you can wear without thinking about how to look after it. It wipes clean and goes straight back on, which is not nothing in February.
