A leather mid calf boot from Fly London, an improvement on the original Mes with better water resistance.
This boot updates the original Mes with an adhesive sole rather than a stitched one, which makes it slightly more generous in the fit and considerably more water resistant, though like any water-resistant leather it handles light rain rather than full saturation.
Fit and comfort: A full length zip on the inner side gives easy access, and a cushioned footbed adds comfort for all-day wear. Decorative stitching and a buckle add character to the front.
Leather upper with textile lining, a sturdy rubber outsole, and a small chunky wedge heel of around 4cm. The boot stands roughly 28cm tall with a calf circumference of about 31cm, and the heel carries Fly London's branding embossed into it.

I'd recommend this one as a genuine wardrobe classic, the improved water resistance and cushioned footbed both make a real difference over a season of wear.
